This year, WLI-MT must raise $21,600 by December 31 to keep language learning accessible and sustain the programs our community relies on.
$360 (or $30 a month) supports one language learner for a full year.
One learner's story: Julie
This fall, Julie enrolled in a Beginner Spanish class feeling hesitant—unsure she could do it and afraid of making mistakes.
Week by week, her confidence grew. Soon, she was calling her mom—whose first language is Spanish—to practice together. What once felt intimidating became a bridge for connection between mother and daughter. By the end of the session, Julie was excited to visit her family for the holidays, ready to speak with them in Spanish for the first time.
Julie’s story is a reminder that language is more than words. It builds confidence. It strengthens relationships. It opens doors to connection.

Why Your Gift Matters
WLI-MT works hard to keep our program affordable, but tuition and fees don't cover the full cost of what it take to run high-quality, welcoming programs. Your gift helps ensure:
- Prepared, supported teachers
- Welcoming learning spaces and materials
- Accessible programs for learners of all ages
By December 31, we must raise $21,600 to sustain our programs and support 60 learners—people like Julie—so they can keep learning, growing, and connecting through language.
- $30 — supports one learner for a month
- $180 — helps cover materials and learning support
- $360 — provides one learner a full year of language learning
- $720 — supports two learners for the year
When you give to WLI-MT, you're not just funding classes- you're funding connection, confidence, and community. Thank you for helping more learners find their voice through language.
